Our factory has its own test laboratory that tests all our D.O.T helmets to the FMVSS 218 standard.

Each D.O.T helmet must pass a series of tests in the rigorous environments: 4-6 hours in the high temperature 50 celsius, and immediately 4-6 hours in the low temperature -20 celsius, again 4-6 hours in room temperature 25 celsius raining condition.

The coming tests includes:

1, Range of visibility must be more than 7 degrees up looking, more than 45 degrees down looking, more than 105 degrees horizontal looking.

2, After 7.5M/S, 27.5KGS impacts by metal hammer and cone, the helmet must maintain integrity.

3, The helmet with 1KG load dropped freely from a height of 50CM, the fasten system must keep complete.

Of course, the tests are much complicated than above! So D.O.T means safty and trust!
