Like Grandma Moses and her paintings, 80 year-old Dorothy Rossi started writing her story-songs later in life, inspired by the soldiers returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan. Her lyrics were put to melodies written by her oldest son Richard Rossi who performs them with his son Josh Rossi, brother Joe Rossi, and friend Amy Sobek.
